Residential
A young couple asked us to unify a fragmented post-war flat with inconsistent ceiling heights and a narrow galley kitchen. We removed a non-structural partition, introduced a continuous oak floor, and designed floor-to-ceiling storage along the longest corridor wall.
The bathroom received terrazzo-look porcelain and a recessed niche shower with linear drainage. Total design fee: 9,860 PLN; built cost approximately 118,000 PLN including MEP upgrades.
This family home required durable finishes for two children and a dog, without sacrificing visual calm. We specified washable lime-wash paint in the living areas, a porcelain worktop in a muted sage, and rounded furniture edges throughout.
Custom plywood beds with integrated reading lights were built by a joiner in Gryfino. The project was featured locally and remains one of our most referenced schemes for clients seeking warm minimalism.
Commercial & workspace
A three-partner practice needed a reception that communicated trust without corporate coldness. We used stained ash panelling, brushed brass signage, and acoustic ceiling baffles to manage speech privacy in an open waiting area.
Design and specification fee: 14,200 PLN. Furniture and build completed within eleven weeks to minimise disruption to daily operations.
A freelance architect required a compact studio with print storage, sample shelving, and a sit-stand desk integrated into a window bay. The scheme prioritises north light and cable management for multiple monitors.
Expected completion in autumn 2026 with a design fee of 6,400 PLN and a built budget capped at 38,000 PLN.
Renovation & retrofit
Our retrofit work focuses on insulation-conscious interior upgrades — replacing single-glazed internal doors, redesigning radiators covers, and specifying low-VOC finishes compatible with older substrates. We coordinate with energy auditors when window replacement affects reveal depths.
A recent Łasztownia loft conversion combined exposed brick with new steel shelving and a kitchen island on locking castors for flexible event hosting. The client hosts small gallery evenings and needed furniture that could shift quickly without scratching restored flooring.
Material studies
Every project folder in our archive includes physical samples: stone offcuts, paint drawdowns on actual plaster types, and fabric swatches taped to board. We photograph these studies for client records, but we encourage handling them in the studio because screen colour remains unreliable.
We are currently testing a line of Polish-made ceramic tiles from a workshop near Kołobrzeg for an upcoming bathroom in Gumieńce. Early results show promising variation in glaze that suits our preference for subtle texture over uniform surfaces.
